In November 2009 Vito Potenza has been elected Provincial Coordinator of Monza and Brianza for the Carabinieri National Association. The duty of the coordinator, whose position has been created after the establishment of the new Province, includes the linking of the Sections to the Regional Inspector Office, and moreover the promotion and the development of the activities of the following Brianza Sections:: Monza, Seregno, Desio, Lissone, Lentate sul Seveso, Lesmo, Arcore, Giussano, Brugherio, Meda, Vimercate, Nova Milanese, Macherio, Cesano Maderno and Carate Brianza.
Vito Potenza, from 1994 to 2010, has been the President of the Monza Section of the Carabinieri National Association. Founded in 1897, this Section is one of the oldest (third after Milan and Como) among the nearly 1700 Sections in Italy and in the world. The Carabinieri National Association was founded by a group of Carabinieri no longer active on their duties; today the National Association is one of the most important institutions in Italy and is formed by more than 320000 members, including Carabinieri in charge, Carabinieri no longer in charge and relatives, distributed among the 1673 Sections in Italy and the 24 Sections throughout the world. <Continua>
