the last few years Vito Potenza is a consultant of UNICRI
(United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute)
as “Special Advisor Institutional Relations”.
The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research
Institute - UNICRI – is an United Nations agency with
the main office in Turin, created in 1968 with an ECOSOC resolution
to assist intergovernmental, governmental and non-governmental
organizations in formulating and implementing improved policies
in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice.
The security governance and the counter terrorism are some
of the main issues among the areas addressed inside the UNICRI
Security Governance / Counter-Terrorism Laboratory) that,
within U.N., through brokerage action, provides fresh ideas
and innovative solutions to policy-makers, helping tackle
issues affecting the international, regional and local spheres.
